My work daughter loves cowls! She has this wonderfully positive attitude about everything and I simply adore her. I told her I was going to design a cowl pattern with her in mind. It seemed perfect to design a pattern using what you probably already have on hand. There is so much we stress about. It’s nice doing something that makes you feel good. One thing that always makes me feel good is finding a project that uses up some of my leftovers. Just some relaxing knitting and knowing you’re stash busting too! Certainly doesn’t mean you can’t buy yarn… I think it’s safe to say most of us love shopping for yarn, lol. That wonderful other “hobby” that comes with knitting!

So, if you have some half skeins leftover, want to mix it up even more with many of your smaller leftovers, or just want to buy more yarn, then this is a perfect project for you! Plenty of breaks to keep it interesting and easy repeats for good TV or travel knitting. Two sizes to choose from too, so you can get the fit you want.

Sizes after just laying flat to dry:
S/M is approximately 22” x 17” tall
M/L is approximately 24” x 17” tall

At my gauge, I used almost 500 yards for the S/M and 560 yards for the M/L.
