Welcome to my first pattern!
This sweater is knit from the bottom up, in the round, and inside out with an all-over slip stitch pattern, creating a squishy, cozy fabric that makes it perfect for going out or curling up on the couch. The Front and Back are separated at the armpit, worked flat, and joined by a 3-needle BO. The sleeves are also worked bottom-up and sewn on, and last but not least, the neckline is picked up and worked in the round.
Attention! I was not able to find a tester for each size. The ones that still need testing are:
-Size 1 (34”)
-Size 5 (50”)
-Size 7 (58”)
-Size 8 (62”)
-Size 9 (66”)
So if you would like to make one of those sizes, message me and I will happily gift it to you in exchange for feedback.
Yarn:
Heavy Sport / DK
Unfortunately since I started working on this design over a year before completion, one of the colorways was discontinued. However, I would like everyone to use whatever they want and with as few or as many colors! Just keep in mind any extra yardage you might need.
The sample uses Madelinetosh Work Sock (400 yds/365 m per 200g)
