ATX Love Wall Socks
The “ATX Love Wall Socks” are inspired by the iconic “Love Wall” mural located in Austin TX. Austin’s “Love Wall” is a popular photo spot for tourists and locals alike, as couples, families and friends seek it out to pose for a group photo alongside its simple, touching message: “i love you so much”
The socks are knitted toe-up with magic loop. I experimented with several techniques for the writing (intarsia in the round, stranded colorwork and duplicate stitch). Duplicate stitch yielded the best results by far, so the pattern is written with this in mind.
