This curvy crescent shaped shawl is worked sideways, mainly in garter stitch, with a few eyelets rows to keep it interesting.

Both sides look good even if different, and the lace border is very easy to memorize, making it the perfect TV knitting!
The rolled hem adds a really neat finishing touch.

Once finished this shawl looks like a giant curly wave with foam on top…

Pattern is available both in French and English, all written instructions. (You’ll need 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn.)

This shawl can easily be made longer or shorter by simply adding more or less repeats or shortening the lace border. You can also work it in more than one colour, add a picot bind off, it’s a very adaptable pattern. I hope you’ll enjoy it :)

Il s’agit d’un modèle en forme de croissant très recourbé, qui se tricote d’un côté à l’autre, principalement en point mousse, avec quelques rangs ajourés pour pimenter le tout.

Les deux côtés sont jolis, bien que légèrement différents, et la bordure en dentelle se mémorise très facilement, ce qui en fait le parfait tricot télé! La bordure roulotée fait une très jolie finition.

Une fois fini, ce châle ressemble à une grande vague, le haut bien recourbé avec de l’écume sur le dessus…

Les instructions sont écrites et vous aurez besoin de 2 écheveaux de laine de type fingering.

Ce châle est très adaptable : vous pouvez ajouter ou retirer des répétitions, ou changer la taille de la bordure en dentelle afin d’en personnaliser la taille. Il peut aussi être travaillé en bicolore, et vous pouvez tout à fait faire une bordure en picots.
