Audrey the Nanny Goat
Audrey the Nanny Goat is one of the oldest members of the menagerie. With her droopy ears and pointed horns, she is a much-loved pattern that has helped many beginner crocheters learn how to change colour and level up their crochet skills. Did you know that the term ‘nanny goat’ refers to a female goat, and the word ‘nanny’ derives from the Middle English word ‘nani’ and Old English word ‘nann’, which both translate to mean ‘a female goat’.
This soft toy will look at home in the nursery, sitting on the shelf or lovingly gift-wrapped for the loved ones in your life. Once you’ve finished crocheting Audrey the Nanny Goat, you’ll be ready to start the next animal in the collection with this addictive new hobby!
