Cast on 66 stitches on size 7 straight needles. Divide up onto size 7 DPN’s for the band, then knit onto size 8 DPN’s. Unfortunately, I knit this as a gift, and didn’t get a gauge before giving it away. I used sport weight in three colors, and barely used any of each! This is made for a newborn, but is pretty stretchy. I have notes with the pattern for tips on how to make this better. Be sure to use jogless stripes!
