This Phoenix Fiber Co yarn has so much color and texture that it took a special design to showcase it. These toe up socks feature a simple lace pattern that is flanked by bold cables. To give the socks a modern feel the pattern is off center on each sock. There is a nice sized stockinette panel to allow the yarn to shine. August Tweed’s lace makes it wearable over much of the year, even summer, hence the title.

Details: The cable and lace panel runs uninterrupted to the cuff. Once the leg of the sock begins an additional small cable is added at the interior leg. After the sock is complete the heel is knit. Socks should be worn with some negative ease to open up the lace.
