Augusta Ruffle Top Mini
Augusta Ruffle Top Mini is a cute and feminine top, which is worked top down in stockinette stitch.
You start out working the back piece flat, after which the shoulders and front piece are created and also worked flat. In the end, the body is worked in the round. The ruffles are shaped using short rows.
The neckline, the ruffles, and the bottom of the garment are finished off using the i-cord technique.

Please notice: Before choosing a size, make sure that you know the exact chest circumference of the child, you are knitting for (measure around the chest without clothes). Add approximately 7 cm / 2.75 inches around the chest and compare with the circumference stated in the pattern. If you are in between sizes, go for the bigger one.
Please be aware, size 1-2 y/o is worked with a keyhole closure in the back, which is finished off with a button. The circumference of the child’s head should not exceed 50 cm / 19.75 in for this size. If the child you are knitting for has a larger head circumference the gusset can be worked with a tad extra length to suit her.
