Augustine’s Garden is a tapered cowl knit in the round from the bottom up. This cowl uses just under 300 yards of a DK-weight yarn (sample uses Crystal Palace Allegro DK in Cinnamon). Warm enough for fall weather, but not too bulky. The intricate-looking lace pattern is easier than it looks; different needle sizes are used to achieve a tapered shape. The pattern includes both a chart and line-by-line written instructions.
