Augustins no. 6 is a simplistic hairband, which will make as a great little addition to your knitted wardrobe.

Size : onesize.
Yarn : the hairband can be knitted in any type of yarn, as long as the right gauge is secured. For the pictured version, the following yarn has been used:
New Zealand lambswool, G-uld (450 m pr 100g).
Gauge : 30 sts = 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch.
Amount : 15g.
Length and width : 35 cm x 2,5 cm.
Needle size : 2,5 mm.
Use either circular needle (60cm) for Magic Loop or double pointed needles.
Work: the band is knitted in the round in Stockinette Stitch, and i shaped by using decreases and increases. When nished, the hairband is inserted into the knitted tube and then sewn together in each end with Kitchener Stitch.
Other: the pattern fits a hairband with a standard width of 25 mm.
