Aunt Aggie's Mesh Stitch
by ag handmades
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This is a nice, textured, stitch, which happened by accident when trying out other stitches for a project.
The instructions are hdc based, but you can do the same stitch with sc, dc, or treble crochet - use your imagination and have fun!
Loosely based on the Antique Pineapple Stitch, this stitch is worked normally row by row, instead of having to break the yarn each row and start each new row by re-attaching.
It works well for cushion covers, blankets, sweaters, scarves, gloves, almost anything for which you need a mesh design, but with a good solid texture.
Have fun with it! AG :)
