Aura Sweater
The Aura Sweater pattern has received a massive update, as of December 2024! This includes a better construction, which addresses fit concerns, and changes to the overall look and flow of the pattern. There are now new style options as well! Thank you for your patience and support, and I hope you love the update!
The aura is said to be the field of energy that emanates from each of us. The Aura Sweater evokes that same image, with its ethereal and fluttery silhouette which floats around the body like a cloud.
Knit with a single strand of Mohair, this top feels lighter-than-air, and is beautifully sheer. It is knit in the round - from the top down, with a raglan construction, and an attached peplum.
This pattern features a “Choose Your Own Ease” format, with options for 2, 4, 6, and 8in (5, 10, 15, 20cm) of positive ease for EACH size. This allows you to create your ideal silhouette, without compromising on fit!
To choose your size and ease, start with your bust measurement. Each bust measurement corresponds with a letter size for easy reading. Each ease option within a single size has the same neckline to ensure proper fit, and then width is added from there. Ease will also dictate the width of the sleeves. So, for a subtle sleeve and more fitted bodice, choose 2-4in of positive ease. For a more dramatic sleeve and floaty bodice, choose 6-8in of positive ease.
