The stitch pattern yields a spongy, forgiving fabric that hugs the body, yet has quite a bit of stretch. Arms are knit smaller, to give snug support.

We run Arkansas Hedgehog Rescue, where re rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pet hedgehogs. Aura was part of a group that was brought to us. As there were
several boys included, all the girls couldn’t be adopted until
pregnancy watch was up. During that time, we would put several
girls in the playpen at once. The only one Meringue warmed up
to, was fellow albino, Aura. Aura loved to stick her head into a
toilet paper tube, and whack it around, often in the direction of
Meringue. Aura was adopted to a loving home, and Meringue
stayed with us.
