This sweater is knitted from the top-down, in the round, and seamlessly. We start with a square and work with increases to the armhole. In the armhole, we separate the stitches for the sleeves and leave them on hold while we knit the body. Next, both the body and the sleeves are knitted on the bias while maintaining the striped pattern. Finally, we knit the waistband and sleeve cuffs from picked-up stitches along the selvage.
