An easy neckwarmer, not only for winter. It’s one of my favorites, and I made one for every coat, using them all the time.

Materials:
• Fingering weight yarn.
Yarn used for samples: Nordlys from Viking Garn, 100 g = approx. 350 meters. 75% Superwash wool 25% nylon.
Sample 1: Color 949 Rainbow.
Sample 2: 927 blue.
Approx. 45 g/ 180 meters/ 197 yards used for one neckwarmer.
• Needles: Two 2.5 mm/ US 1 ½ in appropriate length, for working in the round and flat.
I used one 80 cm long needle for working in the round with Magic loop, introducing the second
needle for the flat parts.
• 8 knitting markers (4 on each side).
Markers are numbered a, b, c1 and c2. Marker a is the start/ half of round marker. Marker b for increases. C1 and c2 mark the start and end of the 39-stitch-pattern (see page 2).

Techniques and tips:
• I used Magic loop for my samples. Double pointed needles or a short circular needle could be used instead. Magic-loop needle 1 corresponds to double pointed needles 1-2. Magic-loop needle 2 corresponds to double pointed needles 3-4.
