Aurora Shawl
This is a very simple garter stitch shawl with increases worked only on the right side. The mix of the colors is very important. So, take your time to chose them.
Because its construction is very simple, it can be easily modified to use all your leftovers, and change size, according to your needs. All you need to do is repeating Part 1 as much you find necessary before working the lacy border.
Have fun!
Fingering version:
Material
5 skeins of fingering weight yarn, in 4 contrasting colors (100% merino. 100g/ 380m). You are not going to use all of the first 3 colors, but definitely will use all of the 4th skein and will need a bit more for the lacy border. But, if you prefer, you can repeat the colors you used previously in the first or second section.
Needles 4 mm (I recommend circular needle at least 80 cm long)
1 marker
Darning needle to finishing touches
Worsted version:
Material
2 skeins of worsted weight yarn, in 2 contrasting colors (100% merino. 100g/ 200m). Or all the leftovers you already have.
Needles 5 mm (I recommend circular needle at least 80 cm long)
1 marker
Darning needle to finishing touches
