Aurora Sky Cowl
The Aurora Sky Cowl is a stranded-colourwork pattern, knit entirely in the round by first knitting a long tube, before the end of the tubes are grafted together with Kitchener Stitch, with a slight twist in the body of the cowl.
It is a really fun and engaging knit, and it is so satisfying seeing the colours come together. The colour gradient in the pattern is achieved with 6 yarn colours . The whole pattern is knit with two yarns held together, and colours are overlapped to blend two colours together.
Knitters also have the option of knitting with a DK yarn (either solid or with a dyed colour transition), instead of two yarns held together.

For knitting with two light fingering yarns held together:

- Indigo: 140 yrds (128 m)
- Cobalt: 140 yrds (128 m)
- Robins Egg: 140 yrds (128 m)

To knit using DK yarn instead of two light fingering yarns held together, the pattern will need:
- 350 yrds (322 m) of MC
- 256 yrds (235 m) of CC
Skill Level:
This is a fairly simple knit but it is recommended that knitters be comfortable reading from charts, knitting with two colours, and using double pointed needles to knit in the round. Provisional cast-ons and Kitchener Stitch are used in this pattern.
