Skill level: intermediate or advanced beginner

You only need to know how to do the basic stitches: a chain stitch, slip stitch and double crochet stitch. I will show you how to do front post treble crochet stitch - not as difficult as the name suggests!

Materials needed for this design:

• Hook size 3.5 mm and 4.0mm or 4.5mm / US sizes E and G
• Medium-weight yarn (DK, Light Worsted or Sport) 300-500 g / 1000-1500 yd (see the yarn suggestions below)
• Tape measure
• Tapestry needle
• Pair of scissors
• Stitch markers (optional)
