They’re Boots - No, they’re Slippers!

These boots look just like the ones you can buy in the mall, but don’t be put off by that. These boots are super easy to make. They work up quickly with simple techniques familiar to a beginner.

Stockinette stitch, increases, decreases, picking up stitches, and circular knitting round out the techniques. The pattern includes extensive felting instructions - you can’t go wrong!

Three soling options make this boot very versatile. Add a cool sole available online at simpleshoemaking.com (very easy to sew on) and you’ve got an amazing pair of street-worthy boots. Add a suede slipper sole (also easy to sew on) for durable house slippers that will stand up to the occasional trip to the mailbox in snow or rain. Or, don’t add any soles to your slippers at all - nothing could be easier!

Fur trim is completely optional - photo shows a real rabbit trim, but you can buy faux fur in any sewing store and add it to the top of your cuff (our instructions make it easy).
