AUSSIE is knitted in Cotton Waves, a wonderful yarn from Gepard Garn. It has a lovely bouclé texture and is a chunky cotton yarn. The color scheme and idea for the sweater are inspired by an Australian football shirt I received a long time ago. The sweater is knitted bottom up. It has a positive ease for 12 - 15 cm (4.2” - 5.9”) When separating the front and back pieces to knit the armholes, it is worked back and forth with three balls of yarn using intarsia. The shoulders are knitted together. The sweater has a round neckline and fairly generous sleeves.
