Auster is a handsome modified raglan with a branching cable motif layered over a tracery of diamonds. The front and back are patterned with allover texture standing proud against reverse stockinette sleeves. This straight-bodied crewneck in Shelter is designed for a classic fit, just right for wearing over buttondowns during the cold months. Choose a pale neutral to emphasize the cable motifs; for the wearer who prefers an understated look, pick a dark shade like Artifact (shown here), Soot, or even Cast Iron.

The pieces are worked separately and sewn together. The neckband is picked up and worked circularly after garment assembly.
