This pattern can be done in any colors you wish and you may use your choice of practically any DK (#3 weight), Worsted (#4 weight) or even Bulky (#5 weight) yarn!
Yarn Amounts - DK (#3 weight)
Finished Size: 17” x 17”
Color A - Background Color: 360 yards
Color B - Design Color: 180 yards
Yarn Amounts - worsted (#4 weight)
Finished Size: 22” x 22”
Color A - Background Color: 400 yards
Color B - Design Color: 200 yards
Yarn Amounts - Bulky (#5 weight)
Finished Size: 31” x 25”
Color A - Background Color: 520 yards
Color B - Design Color: 250 yards
NOTE: This pattern does not include how to do the tapestry technique for changing colors within the row.
The pattern is designed to work in overlay mosaic crochet using only ONE color at a time.

Skill Level:
Beginner - As long as you know the basics of crocheting, you will be able to do this project. Mosaic crochet looks a lot more complex than it really is.
I have had several people that were brand new to mosaic crochet try my patterns and each one was able to follow the instructions and were successful in their projects.
