Australian Animals
by Ginny Sturdy
This pattern contains instructions for four miniature Australian animals: kangaroo, koala, wombat and kookaburra. The pattern was first published in Homespun - Australia’s Number One craft magazine in January 2015.
The little animals could be used as pendants, or small keepsakes.
The finished creatures are really small - Kangaroo 7cm, Koala 5cm, Kookaburra 5cm and Wombat 3cm.
They are all knitted with small amounts of 4ply wool, and 2.00mm double-pointed needles. You will also need small amounts of wadding, some black and dark brown embroidery threads, and metal split rings and suede or leather cord, if you are going to make them into pendants.
The pattern is long (12 pages) and contains photographs to help with construction.
