Austria Soft is a light cashmere sweater. It is a simple pullover with a small interesting detail in the hem. Worked from top down with drop shoulders and almost straight body figure, you can easily modify its length and shaping.

The sweater is intended to be worn with approx. 2”/5 cm of positive ease from the bust. Finished bust measurements approx. 32(36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56)“/80(90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140) cm.
To fit bust sizes: 30(34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54)” 75 (85, 95, 105, 115, 125, 135) cm.
Modeled in size S with approx. 2”/5 cm positive ease on the bust.

GAUGE:
20 sts and 28 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with larger (US 6/4 mm) needles. Row gauge isn’t that crucial in this pattern, since all the measurements are given in length too.

Cardiff Cashmere Classic (100% cashmere, 25g/120yds/110m/skein – You need approx.: 9(9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17) skeins. Total yardage: 1045(1080, 1280, 1400, 1550, 1750, 1925) yds/960(990, 1175, 1285, 1420, 1600, 1765) m.
Needles:
US 6/4 mm 32”/80 cm circular needle. You may prefer 2 needles for front pieces (or dpn:s), but it is workable with one needle too.
US 4/3.5 mm 32”/80 cm circular needle.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
Other:
yarn needle, stitch markers, scrap yarn for provisional CO, crochet hook for provisional co.
