You will need a sewing machine to sew fabric to the back of the scarf. Fabric sewn to the back is Chennile.
You will need less than 1 skein each, of the four colors. However, do to not carry stitches, it will be easier to have 2 skeins to work from, but not necessary.
The pattern will also include a stitch chart, much like a cross stitch pattern.
