Autumn Acorns and Oak Leaves
Knit some Autumn Acorns and Oak Leaves for seasonal decorations. These could be used as additions to wreaths, decorative bunting, or as an embellishment on clothing and accessories.
The acorn pattern is suitable for fairly confident beginners, if you have mastered the kfb increase and k2tog decrease you should be comfortable making the acorns. The oak leaf is a little more difficult, as this uses a p2tog decrease and the m1L and m1R increases (make one left leaning and right leaning). In addition to the stitches mentioned you will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, and a little seaming on each acorn. I hope you enjoy making some autumnal decorations with this free pattern.
Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, these are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).
