Autumn Acorns Quilt
Autumn! Acorns! Fall! Leaves!
The Autumn Acorns quilt pattern is a quick knit, easy-read pattern that uses Aran weight yarn in two colors and produces a lovely textured dream-quilt. Each acorn uses less than 11 total yards and some polyfill. Join them together to make a chair cushion. Connect more to make a baby blanket. Add a few more and cozy up with it on the sofa on a late fall morning. Put in some elbow grease and cover a king-sized bed!
Use your favorite Aran weight yarn for full-sized Acorns or worsted weight yarn for slightly smaller ones. Hold two strands of your favorite boutique fingering or DK yarn as one and make lovely hand-dyed acorns (two strands of fingering will make small, delicate acorns).

This is not a beginner’s pattern but if you’re really dedicated and willing to watch enough YouTube tutorials I won’t try and stop you!
The acorns are knitted in the round and a working knowledge of Judy’s Magic Cast On is required.
