Autumn Blizz Shawl
Autumn Blizz Shawl
The shawl is the first shawl in the new series Four Seasons Four Shawls, making a shawl with different shape and yarn, suited for every season.
This shawl is asymmetrical and is new beginner friendly. It has some lovely, repetitive stitches that is easy to remember.
The pattern works up in 6 rows, slowly building up a new V-stitch on one side of the shawl. A picot border is made on the other side as you go.
Yarn and hook
2 x 100g/425m fingering merino sock yarn – hook size 4 mm
It measures 185 cm after blocking.
Choose any kind of yarn you like (silk mix, linen, mohair, wool, cotton), fingering/sport yarn weight.
To get a nice drape I recommend you use 0,5 mm - 1 mm larger hook size than usual for the yarn.
You can make it in a solid color, or use some lovely skeins of hand dyed yarn or perhaps use a yarn cake?
The pattern has a written instruction with pictures, and a hand drawn chart.
Get ready for autumn!
