Fall is my favorite season. This beautiful time full of bright captivating colors is a constant source of inspiration to me… as much as magical Knoll Yarns Samarkand is.

This is a simple sweater with a Fair Isle body and monophonic sleeves; narrow strips of Fair Isle aront its wrists, too. The crew neck is finished with folded band, aw well as the sleeves and the bottom edge. It has straight relaxed silhouette; the sleeves are narrowed downwards.

The sweater worked from bottom up in the round to the armholes; then the front and the back are worked separately. Fair Isle pattern from this point up should be worked on the right side and on the wrong side. The seamless set-in sleeves work from top down in the round; the stitches for the sleeves are picked up evenly along the armholes. The only seams are on the shoulders.

Difficulty level: intermediate.

Required Skills: You have to know how to work short rows; be able to pick up stitches along vertical and horizontal edges and to work stranded colorwork/Fair Isle patterns, both in the round and back and forth; read charts.

Gauge: 26 sts х 34 rows = 10 х 10 cm.

Recommended yarn: 400 - 550 m/100 g (fingering/sock weight). For the sweater shown in this pattern, I used Knoll Yarns Samarkand (260 m/50 g) in 5 coloros: ecru; beige; orange; brown, and blue.

For size 44-46 - approximately 200 g in total: about 100 g of main color yarn(in my case, beige), and about 50 g of each of other 4 colors will be enough even for size 52.

For size 52 you will need approximately 150-200 g of main color yarn.

Needles and notions: 2.5 and 3 mm circular knitting needles (or other size necessary to get the gauge); spare circular needles or cables/stitch holders; 2.5 and 3 mm double-pointed needles; stitch markers; row counter; tapestry needle.

Size: 44(S)-46 (M), 48-50(L), 52-54(XL)

Это простой джемпер, с жаккардовым телом и однотонными рукавами, украшенными снизу небольшой жаккардовой полосой. Округлый вырез горловины обработан бейкой из лицевой глади с подгибом, так же обработаны низ рукавов и тела. Силуэт прямой, свободный, рукав заужен книзу.
Джемпер связан снизу вверх по кругу до пройм, затем полотно разделяется на перед и спинку и далее вяжется отдельно, жаккард в лицевых и изнаночных рядах. Швы - только плечевые. Рукава без швов, вывязаны из пройм.

Уровень сложности: средний.
Сложности, с которыми вы можете столкнуться: вывязывание укороченных рядов, набор петель из пройм. Необходимо умение читать схемы, вязать жаккардовые узоры как по кругу, так и в лицевом и изнаночном рядах.

Плотность вязания: 26 петель х 34 ряда = 10 х 10 см.

Рекомендована пряжа: 400 - 550 метров в 100 граммах.

Необходимые инструменты: круговые спицы № 2,5 - 3,5, дополнительные спицы или леска, чулочные спицы № 2,5 - 3,5, маркеры, счетчик рядов, гобеленовая игла.

Материалы: я использовала тонкий твид Knoll Yarns Samarkand (260 метров/50 грамм) 5 цветов: экрю, бежевый, рыжий, коричневый и голубой.

Расход: общее количество пряжи для размера 44-46 - примерно 200 грамм.
Больше всего нужно пряжи цвета фона, в моем случае бежевой (100 грамм)
Пряжи других цветов нужно меньше. Если у вас в запасе есть по 50 грамм, этого должно быть достаточно и для размера 52. Но в этом случае пряжи цвета фона возьмите побольше, приблизительно 150-200 грамм.
