Pattern Construction
Autumn Cozy is a bottom-up construction “bandana” style cowl, featuring two-color modified garter stitch stripes complimented by sections of modified Fisherman’s rib. This cowl begins as a triangle shawl that is initially worked flat, then joined in the round and finished as a cowl. This design begins with just a handful of stitches and increases along both edges until desired width. Bind off occurs at the top edge. What looks like brioche in this cowl is actually a “fisherman’s rib”.
There is no “brioche” knitting in this design.
This is an advanced beginner or intermediate level pattern.
