So maybe this isn’t high end fashion but if it’s comfort you’re looking for then look no further!

This is mostly a straightforward pattern and large swathes of it are suitable for tv crochet but there are a few small bits which may go better with some peace and quiet. It has been written for Aran (Worsted / 10-Ply / #4) yarn. The yardage given above is for the White Crops in the photos, which are a comfortable fit on a 90cm waist / 107cm hip.

There are no actual sizes as you will tailor the fit as you go. As such, this may not be the best choice for surprise or long-distance gifts since there will need to be some trying on and checking along the way.

It is assumed that you are familiar with the techniques involved, which apart from the basic crochet stitches include working a foundation single crochet row, increasing, decreasing, extended single crochet, extended double crochet, making an invisible join, standing stitches and working into the third loop.
