Autumn Falls Beanie
This beanie is knitted in the round starting with the ribbing (alternating knit and purl stitches). The body is worked in stockinette (knit stitches in the round) using the ‘fair isle’ or stranded technique.
The hat is one size for adult, head circumference of about 53/54 cm, beanie dimensions: 40 cm in circumference, 23 cm in height.
The pattern to knit this beanie includes 6 pages with ‘how to’ photos and is for intermediary knitters.
Materials:
- 1 skein Everest Roses Filati (75% wool - 25% acrylic,
100 g / 100 m) color 1 white Color (A) – E bulky
- 1 skein Palazzo color Schachenmayr (60% virgin
wool – 40% acrylic, 100 g / 180 m) color 80 Firenze
Color (B) – E bulky
- Needles: 6 mm circular needles or equivalent to
obtain this gauge: 16 Stitches for 15 rows 10x10
cm (I used size 6 needles because I knit loosely)
- Stitch marker
- Pom Pom Maker or faux pom pom
