Autumn Fields Cardigan
Autumn Fields Cardigan is knit seamless from the top down. The cardigan is cast on with Italian cast-on. The collar is knit in 1x1 rib, then you start raglan increases while knitting the cabbage patch pattern. The cardigan is then divided into left and right front sides, back side and sleeve sections. The body is finished with a broad rib and Italian bind-off. Then you knit the sleeves, finishing with a broad rib and Italian bind-off. Lastly you knit the front bands with buttonholes.
Needles: Circular needle 3 mm (80 cm) US2.5 (32 inches), 3,5 mm (80 or 100 cm) US4 (32 or 40 inches) and circular needle 4 mm (40, 80 or 100 cm) US6 (15, 32 or 40 inches). Double pointed needles 3,5 mm US4.
Gauge: 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) = 24 sts x 28 rows with needle 4 mm US6 in cabbage patch pattern after washing and blocking the knit.
