There are two ways to make it it: flat or in the round, with instructions for both ways.

If you’re working in the round, the pattern includes instructions for two steek methods: sewn or felted.

Materials

—Atlas by Modern Daily Knitting 2 oz (57g) skeins, each approx 145 yds (132.5 m), 100% Rambouillet wool: 5 skeins each Cork (A) and Shale (B), and 2 skeins Truffle (C)

—Size US 6 (4 mm) circular needle 40” (100 cm) long or longer, or size needed to achieve gauge

—Size US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle 40” (100 cm) or longer, or sized needed to achieve gauge

—Stitch markers

—Needle felting tool with 5 needles (optional, for felted steek version only)

—Small brush-style needle felting mat (optional, for felted steek version only)

—Piece of cardboard approx 5 x 8” (12.5 x 20.5 cm) (optional, for either steeked version)

—Sewing needle and matching thread (optional, for sewn steek version only)
