Written pattern in standard US terms

I’ve created a few patterns for gourds and pumpkins so you can have a bountiful harvest! Need a cozy project to use up your leftover yarn? I’ve got you.

The pumpkins are simply knitted on dpns or circular needles, and filled with soft poly stuffing. Grab a comforting beverage and some knitting needles, and let’s go!

Y A R N

I’ve used worsted weight yarn as an example, but you can use any yarn you wish with the appropriate needle size.

S K I L L S

These are beginner friendly knitting patterns -- the patterns are textured with various arrangements of knit and purl stitches. Bobbles are explained within. One pattern requires a pinhole cast on, but overall these patterns utilize simple techniques. Minimal hand sewing is necessary.

G A U G I N G

Gauging is not terribly important here. Just make sure to adjust your needle size depending on the weight of yarn you use, so the stuffing doesn’t show through the stitches.
