“Autumn harvest” is a sturdy basket crocheted with synthetic raffia yarn. It has a striking pattern of nestled V-stitches in contrasting colours that give the appearance of golden paddy fields in autumn, hence the name!
The pattern requires familiarity with the tapestry crochet technique and changing yarns of two or more colours. The yarn quantities provided in the pattern instructions are for a basket measuring roughly 8” (diameter) x 8” (height). The size and dimensions are adjustable, which would incur changes in yardage.
