AUTUMN HARVEST SOCKS

Les feuilles tombent, changent de couleur, s’envolent. Elles dansent, tourbillonnent, se recroquevillent juste avant de mourir. L’automne déploie sa splendeur, c’est le moment de récolter les fruits de la terre.
Cette paire de chaussettes se tricote en rond de haut en bas, du mollet vers les orteils. Elle se débute avec un montage tubulaire et des côtes demi-torses. La jambe et une partie du pied se tricotent en point de jacquard pour former un motif de citrouilles. Le talon est un talon renforcé à gousset tricoté en allers-retours. Puis le pied est de nouveau tricoté en circulaire. Enfin, la pointe est refermée par un grafting.
TAILLES
Pour déterminer la taille à tricoter, il faut mesurer le tour de jambe au-dessus de la cheville :
• La taille S correspond à un tour de jambe de 18 à 20 cm ;
• La taille M correspond à un tour de jambe de 21 à 24 cm ;
• La taille L correspond à un tour de jambe de 25 à 28 cm ;
Les chaussettes présentées en photo ont été tricotées en taille M. La longueur du pied et de la tige peut facilement être adaptée.

30 mailles x 42 rangs pour 10 x 10 cm de jersey en rond.

PUMPKIN PATCH SOCKS

Les jours longs sont passés et le vent tourbillonnant dépose marrons et feuilles mortes à nos pieds. L’automne vient, c’est le moment de parcourir les champs orangés pour remplir sa brouette de cucurbitacées à savourer.
Cette paire de chaussettes se tricote en rond de haut en bas, du mollet vers les orteils. Elle se débute avec un montage tubulaire et des côtes 2/2. La jambe et une partie du pied se tricotent en point de jacquard pour former un motif de citrouilles. Le talon est un talon renforcé oeil de perdrix tricoté en allers-retours. Puis le pied est de nouveau tricoté en circulaire. Enfin, la pointe est refermée par un grafting.

These socks are knit from the cuff down. It begins with a tubular cast on and a ribbed cuff. The leg and a part of the foot are knitted with a colorwork pattern. Then the eye of partridge heel flap and the gusset are knitted back and forth. Finally, the toe is worked in the round and finished with Kitchener stitch.
