Hood and cowl are constructed seamlessly from the top of the hood down, using Judy’s Magic Cast-On.

The front opening is framed by a simple rope of cables, and the “knots” come in down the back, in the form of a cabled trellis. The soft, smooshy yarn lends itself well to cables, and the lovely variegations in the yarn really make the cables pop.
