I’m quite proud of this little autumn leaf, if you have used another of my patterns, you know very well that I like quick and easy designs, and I think I did a good job with this design… I hope you like it!
You can make it autumnal, with the colours I chose, or you can also use it to make spring or summer decorations with shades of green.

LEVEL: Beginner - Knowledge of basic crochet stitches (including magic ring, single crochet, chain, slip stitch, half double crochet/half treble crochet, double crochet/treble crochet, treble, double treble). I will also explain how to do a Pique Stitch.

PDF (printable): 5 pages with very detailed instructions with 17 photos (step-by-step visual aid).

This pattern was wrote using US crochet terms. I included a table with the UK and US terminology.

Size of finished Leaf: 5 cm (2 inches) wide and 5 cm (2 inches) tall using DK weight yarn (AKA double knitting / light - light / 3 / light worsted / 8 ply) with a 2.50 mm crochet hook (US C/2 - UK-Can 12). You can use any kind of yarn and crochet hook, the only thing it will change is the size of the finished item.
