The lace stitch used in this afghan is quite easy to knit and most effective. Quick knitting and complete satisfaction is assured when you use 18 (50g) balls Beehive Astra. Two 4 1/2 mm Miloward knitting needles or whichever needles you require to produce the tension given below. One 3.50 mm Milward aluminium crochet hook.
