I created this pattern because I love Fall and colorful autumn leaves.

This is a pattern for a quick and easy project of making knitted leaves (for any season). This could be a great way of using all your yarn scraps. You may use any fingering weight (sock) yarn. Gauge is not important for this pattern, just make sure you are creating flexible fabric without any gaps. It is important however to block finished leaves, otherwise they are not going to hold the right shape.
You may use one strand of fingering weight yarn and smaller size needles for creating light lacy leaves, or hold two strands of fingering weight yarn together for more solid leaves.

With this pattern it’s possible to create any size of leaves with any yarn using a corresponding size needles.

Difficulty level - Easy.

Knitted leaves could be used as photo props, little gifts or/and gift tags, for making leaf garlands, wreaths, bookmarks, decorating clothing, hats, bags, pouches, Thanksgiving table and etc.

I hope you will enjoy this pattern!
