Autumn Leaves Hat
I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley near the scenic Skyline Drive, whose Autumns are characterized by beautiful fall foliage blanketing the country side with breathtaking beauty. One of the things I miss most since moving to Sunny Southern California is the annual changing of the leaves and all the other harbingers of autumn. The apple cider, apple butter, the crispness in the air and the faint smell of woodsmoke. This simple cowl (knit flat and seamed) brings back those happy memories.
