I made my shawl out of Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn, however, this brand does not have the best drape, and I am sure any other brands would work just as well, if not better. For a chunkier shawl, use thicker yarn and larger hook sizes, likewise for a lighter, more elegant shawl, use thinner yarn and smaller hook sizes. However, the leaves can weight the edge of the shawl down a bit, so they might stretch thinner yarn.

You can make as many or as few of each kind of leaf as desired, or even use only one or two kinds of leaves! The way you arrange the leaves around the edge has infinite possibilities!
