Autumn Rose Gloves
Autumn Rose Gloves is a simple fingerless glove pattern that uses one strand of fingering weight yarn held with one strand of silk-mohair yarn (or other lace-weight yarn). It’s perfect for using up your leftover yarns after finishing a mohair sweater or a pair of socks. The gloves have a double-folded hem and are finished with an i-cord edge. Increases for the thumb are done on the side “seam”, for a clean and polished look.
Materials:
50g* fingering weight yarn (sample knit in Sandnes Garn Sunday #4236)
25g* silk mohair or other lace-weight yarn (sample knit in Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair in Bordeaux)
3.00mm (US 2.5) double pointed needles, long circular needles for magic loop, or 9-inch circular needles
Stitch markers if desired
Tapestry needle for finishing
Note that I used 40g of fingering weight yarn and 15g of silk mohair for the sample gloves.
Gauge:
28 stitches per 4 inches (10 cm)
Row gauge may vary and instructions for length will be given in inches and cm.
Size:
One size (adult medium)
