Autumn Round Dance
Autumn Round Dance is a lace crescent-shaped shawl, worked from the center back of the neck down to the border.
Level of Skills: from intermediate to advanced.
The pattern includes charts and all the necessary explanatory notes; row-by-row written instructions are not included.
Yarn: It is strongly recommended to use either natural fiber yarn (linen, cotton, wool, and silk) or yarn comprising a minimum synthetic content; approximately 500 to 800 m (547 to 875 yds) per 100 g.
Gauge is not important for this project. Finished shawl size and the total yardage will depend on yarn choice, needle size and your individual manner of knitting.
MATERIALS USED:
Size 3.25 mm / US 3 circular needles;
Size 2.0 mm crochet hook for bind off;
Size 0.5 mm crochet hook for beading;
626 beads for decoration (optional);
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn.
Yarn: The sample shown has been worked in Limageda Linas 600 (100% linen; 600 m / 656 yds per 100 g).
The sample required 720 m/800 yds (120 g) of yarn.
Finished Dimensions: 160 cm/63″ wingspan and 80 cm/31 ½″ deep, relaxed after blocking.
Charts show only the right-side rows; on the wrong-side rows all stitches are purled unless otherwise specified.
