This is a pattern for a lovely textured cowl ideal for autumn! It’s both cute and warm, which I find perfect for a crisp autumn day. This pattern is the second in my Autumn Textured series, the first of which being the Autumn Textured Infinity Scarf. The texture to this scarf includes a variety of stitches to keep it interesting.

It is crocheted as a rectangle, then folded over and buttoned to wear. The scarf measures 34” long and 6.5” wide (not including fringe).

Swatch: 13hdc by 10 rows = 4” square

You will need:
- 175-200 yards worsted weight yarn
- two 1” buttons
- H crochet hook (5.0mm)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Measuring tape

This pattern is written in US terms. You will need to know the following stitches:
- single crochet
- half-double crochet
- front-post half-double crochet
- back-post half-double crochet
- double crochet
Instructions for the puff stitch are included. It’s perfect for a proficient beginner or intermediate crocheter.
