I designed this poncho as the summer starts to fade and the evenings get a bit cooler. I wanted something I could just throw on as I leave work and run my errands. I have now worn it in the morning while having my coffe on the porch. The cool crisp mountain air is starting to be a bit too cool. This poncho is perfect to add a little warmth. The original is knit in Brushed Fleece by Rowan which is light as a cloud yet warm to wear. Kodiak from Berroco is also light and warm.

In designing this poncho, I also wanted knitters to have a transition from cowls and hats to bigger knitwear. By working raglan increases, the beginner knitter will become comfortable with the basic steps of a raglan top down sweater without the pressure of the full garment.

This poncho is one size only but it is easily customizeable.
