Knitted with aran yarn, this unisex top-down sweater is easy to put on with its 2 side openings.
Perfect for the newborns and the little ones who don’t enjoy having their head stuck in their sweater!

This can easily be adapted into a warmer sweater by knitting long sleeves (instructions provided!).

If using worsted yarn, you will obtain a more relaxed fabric, making it perfect to be worn over a one piece or a little shirt.

Your size’s choice should be based on finished chest measurements as you can shorten/lengthen body and sleeves length if needed. Age label is just there to give a reference.

Materials

• 110 (150, 170, 200, 250, 330, 375) yards of worsted weight yarn or any other yarn that gives gauge (yardage is given for the short sleeves version)
• 16’’ (or bigger) circular needle and double pointed needles (DPNs) US # 8 (5 mm) or any size required to obtain the stockinette stitch gauge
• Other : stitch marker, stitch holders, 6 buttons (0.75’’)

Questo maglioncino top-down, lavorato con filato tipo worsted, è un modello facile da indossare grazie alle due aperture laterali. Perfetto per i neonati e i bimbi piccoli .

La tensione con la quale è lavorato è piuttosto morbida, e lo rende perfetto da essere indossato sopra una camicia senza risultare troppo pesante.

E’ anche possibile realizzarlo con la manica lunga (vedi istruzioni) in modo da trasformarlo in un caldo maglione invernale.

Quantità totale di filato occorrente:
156 (165, 183, 206, 251, 297, 343) metri di filato worsted o adatto ad ottenere il campione indicato (la quantità di filato indicato si riferisce al modello con maniche corte)

La scelta della taglia dovrebbe basarsi sulla misura del torace , poi si può accorciare / allungare il corpo e le maniche, se necessario. L’indicazione per l’età è unicamente come punto di riferimento.
