Autumnal Squares
This blanket was inspired by cosy, autumn vibes. It was one of the very first blankets I made, and I’ve decided to share the pattern with you all. I wanted to create a pattern that is suitable for beginners, and thought why not share one of my favourite makes from the start of my crochet journey. The blanket is made up from individual granny squares, and uses only 3 different stitches.
The pattern includes photo tutorials and grids for the colour quantities, and layout. It’s also a very flexible pattern and the size can be altered easily, by changing the hook size, the yarn quantities or the layout itself.
The blanket uses 16 balls of 100g DK / light worsted yarn in total. I used Stylecraft Special DK, but any yarn would work well.
The pattern is written in both US and UK terms.
