Autumnsong Fingerless Mittens
So when you hear this autumn song
Clear your heads and get ready to run
So when you hear this autumn song
Remember the best times are yet to come
Manic Street Preachers
This design was inspired by the wonderful autumn colours of the trees around beautiful Perthshire where I used to live. The pattern itself based on skeleton leaves which I’ve always had a fascination for! I’ve deliberately made these fingerless mittens with a longer than usual body – so that more of the lovely colour work is seen peeping out from your jacket sleeves! If gauge is met, there should be enough left of all the contrast colours to make the matching hat although you would need to buy an additional skein of madder.
